Is this allowed on Airbnb?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Airbnb asks that photos accurately represent the space. Correcting exposure and color is standard photo editing, the same thing a professional photographer does before delivering. The standard retouch never adds, removes or restyles anything in the room. With the optional eye candy switched on, we only switch on or tidy what is already in the photo (the screen of a TV that is there, lamps, a fireplace, made beds). Nothing is hidden, and nothing is added unless you ask: at any time after payment you can ask for a version of a given photo with staged guests, delivered beside the clean photo and labelled as staged. An outdoor photo can also get a separate early-dusk version, labelled the same way.

How many photos do you enhance?

Up to 50 photos per listing. You get a free enhanced preview of the first photo, the other photos stay visible in their current version, and the whole set is enhanced right after you unlock.

How long does it take?

The preview usually lands in a few minutes. After you unlock, the full set is typically ready within 10 to 20 minutes and we email you the moment it is done.

What resolution do I get?

Full-resolution JPEGs at up to 2K on the long edge, well above what Airbnb displays, with no watermark. Want more? Once your photos are delivered, you can get every photo in the set in 4K from your page, as a one-time add-on.

What if a photo does not come out well?

Occasionally a photo cannot be improved. We skip it, keep your original available, and it never blocks the rest of your set. Email us and we will sort it out.

Why do I have to confirm the listing is mine?

We only fetch photos at the host’s own request, from the public listing page, for that host. Confirming it is your listing (or that the host authorised you) is what makes this a service to you rather than a scraper. Submissions are logged for that reason.

Is the price per listing or per account?

Per listing. Each Airbnb link you submit is its own job with its own free preview and its own one-time price. Hosts with several places simply run one link at a time; there is no account and nothing recurring.

What are eye candy, staged guests and the dusk version?

A free option you switch on next to your free before/after: the TV shows Netflix, the lamps and the fireplace are on and the beds look hotel-made. It only works with what is already in your photos — it never adds furniture, amenities or a view to your Airbnb listing, and never hides anything about your place. Any photo can be redone without it, once. At any time after payment you can also ask, photo by photo, for a version with one or two staged guests using the space (a couple on the sofa, people at the table). It is never automatic, it comes beside the clean photo, and it is always labelled as staged. On outdoor photos where the sky and your place show, you can also ask for an early-dusk version (the same photo after sunset, windows glowing), free, beside the clean photo and labelled as dusk.
